Recipe: Eclipse Orange Drink

“Feels like an orange cinnamon dream!”

– Chef Genevieve
I loved the eclipse smoothie!

Recipe grade: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

The recipe in three words: sweetness, refreshing, and fruity!

Where I discovered it: a magazine

Cooking Partner: My mom

What I liked about this recipe: Don’t change a thing! It is awesome. It reminds me of a Harry Potter book because it is like the ‘butter beer’ with the foam on top!

My recommendation: I could see this at special events like weddings, graduations, birthdays, much more!

Ready for the eclipse!

Ingredients for the “sun”:

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
I am posing with the recipe and our drinks!

Ingredients for the “moon”:

  • 1 can coconut milk or water
  • 1 ripe banana
  • sprinkle of sea salt
  • cinnamon

Recipe:

  1. Put all of the “sun” ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. Divide evenly between glasses.
  2. Clean the pitcher thoroughly and then put the “moon” in the blender. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the “moon” mix gently over the “sun” mix in the glasses. Sprinkle cinnamon on top!
  4. Enjoy!
